Family & Natural Supports Project
Family & Natural Supports Project (FNS) - is a program focused on strengthening relationships between vulnerable young people (aged 15-24) and their families (and networks) with a view of preventing, reducing, and ending youth homelessness. FNS program supports are intended to help mediate conflicts, strengthen relationships, and nurture natural supports to help young people move forward with their lives, stay in school, and/or access training and employment. The goal is to break the cycle of homelessness through the provision of a focused and participant-driven intervention that provides supports for young people at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness and their family. In many cases, youth homelessness is preventable if interventions happen early, and families are given proper supports.
