What to Expect
The program is designed for high-risk individuals including those that are street-involved, homeless, disengaged from support networks, and who are negatively affected by substance use. The focus is recovery-oriented care while also providing services to reduce harm.
Participants can expect to receive information on and support in treatment and recovery options. They will also have access to addiction, mental health and services to reduce harm. Our program provides a warm transfer to community resources such as housing supports, food security and harm reduction supplies when needed.
How to Access the Program
Referrals are accepted from any community member who requires Mobile Addiction Outreach services, including self-referral. The program is open to youth, adults, and families that are affected by addiction and there are no restrictions on how many times services are accessed.
Exit from the program is based on the achievement of goals. Participation is voluntary and someone can stop accessing services at anytime.
McMan's core values of commitment, trust, respect, empathy, and genuineness are ingrained in each portion of service delivery.
